Formerly known as ITMA Toastmasters, co-founded by Alvin Ong and Vivienne Tan to provide a platform for IT professionals to enhance their public speaking and leadership skills, the current TTAB Toastmasters Club was established in 2003 and affiliated with the Information Technology Management Association (ITMA), a national hub for IT leaders to network and share knowledge.
Over the years, the ITMA Toastmasters Club has worked in partnership with the Tech Talent Assembly (TTAB) and in February 2024, the club officially became the TTAB Toastmasters Club, expanding its mission to serve the members of TTAB and the wider community of tech professionals.
